NEWSFLASH: Friday's Boston is closing on December 23rd 2005. This Boston Landmark for over 30 years at the corner of Newbury and Exeter St will close its doors for good. A new Friday's is scheduled to open in the summer in the Longwood Medical Area.

BOSTON -- For nearly 30 years, TGI Friday's served up burgers and brew on a street better known for high-end fashion and cutting-edge art.

NewsCenter 5's Jorge Quiroga reported that the restaurant chain announced it will be leaving Boston's Newbury Street.
